Why choose Physiotherapy?
Injury and illness can effect anyone at any time. Physiotherapy helps to restore functionality and movement; helping the natural healing mechanisms of your body.
As a Chartered Physiotherapist, Judy Eaton undertakes a full examination of the problem and its relationship to the body as a whole. A diagnosis is made from these findings and a treatment plan is outlined.

Your treatment
Treatment is designed to promote healing, decrease pain and prevent re-injury. Treatment may entail:
- Mobilisations: Gentle loosening
- Manipulation: Stronger passive movement
- Traction: Stretching
- Electrotherapy: Ultrasound, Interferential and Combination Therapy
- Exercise: Strengthening/Mobilising
- Rehabilitation: The right way to return to full function
- Training: Postural re-education, lifting/carrying techniques
Help your body help itself
Prompt physiotherapy treatment from a Physiotherapist is all important. After any injury inflammation occurs, which can lead to scarring. This in turn slows down the healing process. Therefore, the quicker you receive treatment following trauma, the quicker your body will return to full function.
When an injury has occurred, it often re-occurs. Therefore, preventative treatment is also very important in physiotherapy. During our sessions we will spend time on how to avoid any future recurrence of your problem.
